Is timber framed construction more environmentally friendly?

Yes! Timber used by Bentley Timber Frames, comes from sustainable managed sources. The forests created to supply this demand continue to grow year on year. Timber frame has the lowest CO2 cost of any commercial build method.

What is a typical external wall panel insulated with?

As a general rule, we use Hybris (concertinaed foam) or PIR (Hard Foam) within our external wall panels. Whatever your design, we will work with your architect to ensure your project achieves the specified U-Values.
